Copywriting

I excel at copywriting, whether it's crafting attention-grabbing headlines or creating engaging email campaigns. My skills are versatile and I am confident in my ability to tackle any type of copywriting project.

As a passionate blogger, I have published five personal blogs to promote products and services for my own businesses. Additionally, I have assisted clients in starting their own blogs by developing content strategies and providing information architecture and web design services on various eCommerce platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.

I have extensive experience in copywriting, including long-form content like product guides, SEO content, UX copy for front-end and back-end interfaces, brochures, customer knowledge base, and entire websites. I have also worked on short content like contests, ads, social media posts, and infographics. I have the skills and expertise to handle all types of copywriting projects.

I have experience managing an editorial calendar with multiple contributors, guest blogging, and repurposing curated content from influencers and customers for the company blog and social media.

In addition to marketing materials, I wrote UX copy including navigation titles, tooltips, and field labels for the plugin backend where users select options. Here is an example of a full copywriting package I wrote for my plugin, Dynamic Copyright Year.

"The Benefits of RSS Marketing Automation" blog promotes product benefits for a WordPress plugin, Featured Images In RSS. Using keyword research I crafted the content around a trafficked keyword with the goal of discoverability by potential customers who are not searching for the product, but a solution. The keyword strategy's success was proven when the post reached the top 10 pages, driving high organic traffic to the company's site.

Our team created a Blesta extension product called HelpScout For Blesta. Unlike our usual WordPress plugins, this product required a more complex setup process. To ensure that users received comprehensive support, I created a PDF Setup Guide that was delivered alongside the product download. The guide breaks down technical instructions into simplified, visual steps.

The Blesta extension landing page incorporates Surecart checkout. I performed the copywriting and new product messaging strategy timed around the New Year. Plus, designed and developed the web page.

Cannabis Wellness Tours

In 2018 Cannabis Wellness Tours in Coachella Valley sought to teach boomers about how to use medical cannabis without the stigmatization. Authentic storytelling was central to building trust. I helped the business owner shared her own personal story throughout the website.
