Starting with business goals, I develop a strategy and prioritize marketing tactics to develop a marketing mix to allocate a budget.
As part of the B2B event marketing plan for NetApp Insight in Las Vegas, our main objectives were to increase registration numbers before the event, engage attendees with on-site activities that could be amplified through social media, and create engaging content and photos after the event. Additionally, we ran contests to encourage user-generated content, and collaborated with channel partners and sales partners to provide social media kits and added value to exhibitors through social media promotions. In 2015, I was the featured social media expert at the event in addition to planning and managing event social media promotions for NetApp.

This drip email strategy maps to the customer journey from starting as a free user, to beginning a trial, and purchasing the paid plugin license.
